At JA of Wisconsin - Northwest Wisconsin, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!
JA Young Entrepreneur Competition - Statewide
Happening Now!
Four young student 'finalist' entrepreneurs from across Wisconsin compete in front of a panel of celebrity judges pitching their business endeavors to win a $5,000 scholarship. This year's event will run March 9th-13th. The winner will be announced on Friday, March 13th.

JA of Wisconsin - Northwest Area's largest fundraising event ensuring JA programs are delivered to area students throughout northwestern Wisconsin.

Blueprint for Success: Construction Career Camp
Build your future in the construction industry with this immersive, hands-on camp that combines real-world skills with meaningful community impact. Collaborate in teams to plan, budget, and construct small-scale projects - such as outdoor benches or raised garden beds - that will be donated to a local nursing home. Gain valuable experience, strengthen your resume, and connect with industry professionals while exploring career opportunities in construction.
This camp is made possible through a partnership between UW-Stout and Junior Achievement. Scholarships are available thanks to an NSF ExLENT Grant (Award # 2347352).
JA/CVTC Manufactoring Camp
Manufacturing Camp
Students in grades 6 through 12 will explore various career opportunities within the manufacturing industry. Throughout the week, they will gain knowledge through Junior Achievement lessons, hands-on activities, and projects. Students will also visit local manufacturing businesses to tour their facilities and learn about career opportunities in the area.
This camp is made possible through a partnership between CVTC and Junior Achievement.
JA/CVTC Transportation and Trades Camp
This camp is a great experience for students in grades 9-12 who want to learn about career opportunities in Transportation and trades fields. Students will start the week off with JA lessons on job shadowing and how to buy a car, and then they'll tour the CVTC program facilities. They will also tour Markquart Motors and explore potential career opportunities at the dealership. To finish off the week, students will be hands-on at CVTC and parents are invited to a luncheon to debrief on what students learned during the week.

JA Stock Market Challenge is a live simulation where students take what they learned in the classroom, through the JA Take Stock in your Future curriculum, and apply it to the real world. JA Areas facilitate fast-paced competitions based on a fictional marketplace.
