New Wisconsin Law Mandates Financial Literacy Courses for High Schools

JA Financial Literacy Courses Here to Help

Wisconsin recently became the 24th state in the country to enact a law requiring high school graduates to complete a semester-long course in financial literacy. Wisconsin schools can fulfill this mandate with a semester-long curricula offered by Junior Achievement of Wisconsin.

JA Financial Literacy, part of the JA High School Experience courses, is a one-semester, teacher-led course that equips high school students with foundational personal finance skills.

JA Summer Camps - Northwest WI

Summer Camps

Students in grades 6 through 12 will explore various career opportunities within the manufacturing industry with our partnership with UW-Stout, Monday, June 22nd - Thursday, June 25th. Students in grades 9-12 who want to learn about career opportunities in Manufacturing, Transportation and trades fields can join us for a camp in partnership with Chippawa Valley Technical College (Manufacturing Camp) June 22, 2026 - Thursday, June 25, 2026 or (Transportation & Trades Camp) Monday, July 20th - Friday, July 24th. In August from the 11th through the 13th, we have a hands-on summer camp experience where students in grades 6–8 will learn from our sponsor, local Hy-Vee culinary experts about food preparation and the basics of business planning.

JA 30th Annual Golf Outing: Northwest Area

Northwest WI Golf Outing

Join the JA crew for the 30th annual JA Golf Outing set for Thursday, June 4th, 2026. The event accommodates golfers of all abilities to play an 18-hole scramble at Wild Ridge Golf Course in Eau Claire, WI. Enjoy beverages, snacks, lunch and more on the course. To compliment the event, we have an online auction, for your bidding pleasure. We will also have a LIVE auction and dinner after you are done golfing.
