Build your future in the construction industry with this immersive, hands-on camp that combines real-world skills with meaningful community impact. Collaborate in teams to plan, budget, and construct small-scale projects - such as outdoor benches or raised garden beds - that will be donated to a local nursing home. Gain valuable experience, strengthen your resume, and connect with industry professionals while exploring career opportunities in construction.

Monday, June 22, 2026 - Thursday, June 25, 2026
Manufacturing Camp
Students in grades 6 through 12 will explore various career opportunities within the manufacturing industry. Throughout the week, they will gain knowledge through Junior Achievement lessons, hands-on activities, and projects. Students will also visit local manufacturing businesses to tour their facilities and learn about career opportunities in the area.
This camp is made possible through a partnership between CVTC and Junior Achievement.

JA/CVTC Transportation and Trades Camp - Eau Claire, WI
Monday, July 20, 2026 - Friday, July 24, 2026
This camp is a great experience for students in grades 9-12 who want to learn about career opportunities in Transportation and trades fields. Students will start the week off with JA lessons on job shadowing and how to buy a car, and then they'll tour the CVTC program facilities. They will also tour Markquart Motors and explore potential career opportunities at the dealership. To finish off the week, students will be hands-on at CVTC and parents are invited to a luncheon to debrief on what students learned during the week.

JA Culinary Entrepreneur Food Truck Camp
Tuesday August 11th- Thursday August 13th
Hands-on summer camp experience where students in grades 6–8 will learn from local Hy-Vee culinary experts about food preparation and the basics of business planning. Through JA lessons, participants will develop key entrepreneurial skills by creating a business plan, logo and crafting a menu for their own unique food truck concept.
The camp will conclude with an exciting final challenge: students will create a no-bake or ready-made menu item that reflects their theme, which will be presented—along with their food truck design, menu, and budget—to a panel of local judges.
